Since the protagonist does not face significant crises or hardships, the story is a light and easy read. Additionally, the protagonist hides their identity as the owner of the 30HTC channel while working as a manager, showcasing traits typical of a secretly powerful character (“hidden powerhouse” trope).
Plausibility
The most significant aspect of the story is the protagonist hiding their identity as the owner of 30HTC. While the protagonist engages in external CGI service projects via the channel, they claim, “A close friend works at 30HTC,” when questioned about the company by others. However, the story fails to address practical issues like payment for commissioned work, YouTube revenue, taxes, and the legal setup required for running a business. For instance, while a subplot involving the U.S. IRS commissioner as an intern resolves tax-related issues later in the story, it raises questions about why the protagonist’s identity wasn’t revealed prior to the intern’s recruitment.
